Pictures!

Bethel is looking better every day! Since my last post the main bathroom has been tiled, the piano has been moved from the garage into the living room, and a few more electrical issues have been dealt with. I am so grateful for the people God has sent to help with all of these things.

Now - some of the pictures you have so patiently been awaiting...

"Before" and "During" Pictures of the Kitchen and Dining Room.

While most of the accessories came with me from Daffodil Hill in Mississippi, the table, chairs, hutch, blue chair, microwave cart, and small shelf were gifts for Bethel. The corner cabinet and library table are Daffodil Hill antiques.
It's obviously still a work in progress, but I am pleased with the way everything is coming together. Eventually I will have a real kitchen, but this set up is working well at the moment. Pictures of other rooms are on the way! :)

  1. Oh Daff...
Are those your blue plates from Daffodil Hill? I remember a very special story about those...

  2. Yes, Judi, those are my plates from the past. How sweet of you to remember! Many of them belonged to Jimmy's grandmothers. Some came from Honduras. The new ones to which you are referring are the serving pieces purchased just before Jimmy died. Others came from various places including gifts from my children. I also have a number of pieces that are not displayed. Of all my collections this is my favorite, one I began in high school. Now I just need more display spaces. :)
