Prime Developments

What a difference a week makes! If you have been praying please continue. God is doing amazing things at Bethel!!!

As of Wednesday evening progress was pretty much at a standstill. I knew that God's timing was perfect, and I trusted Him to provide, but moving by the end of the month was looking rather impossible. Then God moved.

On Thursday evening, a friend's husband came over and did some hand sanding. On Friday morning, I received an email stating that a guy I barely know would be coming in from out of town this week to do the electrical work. Then around 5:00 on Friday afternoon things really began hopping! It was a late night, but by the end of it the drywall work was essentially finished and plans had been made for priming. By Sunday night the entire house - walls, ceilings, doors, and trim - had been thoroughly primed.

The house has been transformed! Even the greasy kitchen looks amazing! Everything looks fresh and clean, and there is a "new house" smell. I will spend the next couple of days cleaning up and masking the trim. Electrical work will begin on Wednesday, and painting should begin in earnest on Friday. Yippee!!!

My photographer friend, Crystal, shot photos last week, and she will return to photograph the progress in a few weeks. I haven't seen the pictures yet, but will be posting them here sometime soon.

I am so grateful to the many people who have helped in a variety of ways! If you are one of those people, know that you are greatly appreciated!!! God continues to surprise me with the unexpected. Every day is an adventure. He is so very faithful!!!!

"He is your praise, and He is your God, who has done for you these great and awesome things which your eyes have seen." Deuteronomy 10:21
